At the moment no, this is mostly a matter of configuration and
could be added. I think that most installation that want a
purely local database will choose for SQLite. The choice for
MySQL is mostly made for replication, failover, and other
functionalities that require network access anyway.
The perceived security benefits from only accessing locally aren't
that great anyway and there are no speed implications or other
benefits from not connecting though the network stack.
