IIRC, the zone fetcher in 1.0.0 tries to kick /usr/local/bin/ods-signer instead of /usr/local/sbin/ods-signer. A possible workaround (which I haven't tested) would be to soft link /usr/local/bin/ods-signer to /usr/local/sbin/ods-signer.
