thanks ville for your very interesting feedback,
i'm at the moment looking at your spec file

@Rick , i've used rpmmacros so i do not have to use the "trick" you've
mentioned :-)

@ville, i'm very interested in oordinating the development of RHEL/CentOS
RPM packaging.

btw i've taking a closer look at EPEL requirements and as you mentioned it,
i think we can manage to have our packages meet the EPEL requirements.

if we choose to go this way, maybe we would need to build something like
koji which would help us building and maintaining our RHEL/CentOS packages.

i think this has to be discussed also with the dev team of opendnssec.
