[Opendnssec-user] signed zones are not appearing in "signed" directory

Hi,

I'm stuck with an issue, probably I've just missed some documentation or 
config switch, but after 4 hours of testing/reading, I cannot find what 
is missing.

the zones are signed nicely and all the files appear in the 
/var/opendnssec/tmp directory, but never in the final 
/var/opendnssec/signed directory.

the zone configuration for the zonelist is

         <Zone name="example.com">
                 <Policy>default</Policy>
 
<SignerConfiguration>/var/opendnssec/signconf/example.com.xml</SignerConfiguration>
                 <Adapters>
                         <Input>
 
<File>/var/opendnssec/unsigned/example.com-zone</File>
                         </Input>
                         <Output>
 
<File>/var/opendnssec/signed/example.com-zone</File>
                         </Output>
                 </Adapters>
         </Zone>


Can you give me a hint what might be wrong?
