Hi,

My apologies for the late response, I had a few days off.
However, it seems to work fine for me on Ubuntu. Since the unexpected
exception is printing nothing useful (nothing at all), it is hard to
troubleshoot this.

Somehow the signer did move the .finalized file to the
/var/opendnssec/signed, but the syslog does not contain any move output
messages...

I guess you have no <Audit\> configured? What about <NotifyCommand\>?

I have committed a patch to trunk to raise the exception, rather than
printing it (as Jelte suggested earlier). Could you send me the stack trace?
