My next steps are to finalize some of the code and send it upstream, I
found a few things in ldns but I have to verify it with the latest
source.

I would also like to test a slab-like allocator for data like strings
and look at the possibility to create macros for storing sizeof(data)
<= sizeof(void*) inside the pointer itself without any runtime impact.
