The current solution is working for us now, but we need better performance in the future (for others with larger zone than .SE). We are currently just looking at the sorter and I think that the new code could be useful in the future as well. Just get the zone info from database/memory/pipe/etc instead of a file. For 1.1 we do not want any big changes, because that would distract us from 2.0.

The overall optimization of OpenDNSSEC is a topic that needs to be discussed in the meeting in Amsterdam.
