Ohh sorry this is what I should have said:
If I store the same value in both CKA_LABEL and CKA_ID in my token, lets say { 30 39 30 33 31 30 30 38 34 37 34 39 32 38 39 32 38 37 } (a byte array)
Then pkcs11-tool will present this:
