From berry at nlnetlabs.nl Wed Jun 29 09:57:29 2016 From: berry at nlnetlabs.nl (Berry A.W. van Halderen) Date: Wed, 29 Jun 2016 11:57:29 +0200 Subject: [Opendnssec-maintainers] OpenDNSSEC 2.0.0 final release candidate Message-ID: <57739B89.7090200@nlnetlabs.nl> Today we issue a final release candidate for OpenDNSSEC 2.0.0. The official release will follow in short time. The beta gave no serious problems and this release candidate has only a few relative changes to the beta. This release candidate is therefor only intended for package maintainers to allow for a bit of time on packaging differences. Still there is an advice to review the configuration as semantics have changed. - The configure options have changed, most are applicable only to unit test, but noteworthy is that the --with-database-backend is now named --with-enforcer-database. It is still only possible to use either SQLite3 or MySQL/MariaDB, not both. SQLite3 should be considered default. - Database conversion scripts are located in enforcer/utils subdirectory they are not part of a default make install.
