The default OpenDNSSEC username/group is "opendnssec", although it has been reported [1] that there are still systems around that do not support usernames longer than 8 characters. Should we change to "ods" and let package maintainers deal with any local changes?

Do we know which systems and whether they are still on our list of
supported OSs? (I notice that the original ticket is nearly 2 years old.)

I would keep the 'opendnssec' and let package maintainer and users of
obscure system to deal with it.

The fedora/rhel package already uses "ods".
