Many thanks for this - very good article. I guess http://git-scm.com/doc is also a useful reference point. 

Jakob - in the teleconference we also talked about you sending out an email with some git resources in it to help developers prepare? 

Unfortunately Jerry is on vacation until the day before the workshop so I don't know if anyone else can share the .SE workflow....?
