 The only similar line I can find is:

 The variable $LDNS_LIBS is only used temporarily in the check. It will not
 be saved in the $LIBS variable. $LDNS_LIBS is added in the Makefiles that
 need to compile something with LDNS. E.g:
 http://trac.opendnssec.org/browser/trunk/OpenDNSSEC/signer/src/Makefile.am#L64
