 I think Tom said that the problem resolved if he issued an explicit "ods-
 signer sign ..." command, or the signer re-signed it twice. It was just
 the first automatic re-sign after removing the records that failed.

 Are you perhaps issuing a re-sign command when trying to reproduce the
 problem?
